is yoga?
Yoga is a philosophy and science of life that developed
in ancient India. The word “Yoga” means yoke or union.
The study and practice of yoga unifies the body, mind, and spirit
and incorporates the flow of life force, or “prana.”
The student of yoga develops a sense of integration
and balance through the practice of postures (asanas),
breath control (pranayama), and other techniques including meditation.

Preparation for classes
It is very important to inform your teacher about any limitations
and health problems you have before taking your first class. Do
not eat within 1 hour of your class. Wear comfortable clothing:
sweats, leotards, biking shorts and tshirts.

ability level, goals and limitations.
